AfricalIgnite is a proud Strategic Implementation Partner (SIP) of the international award-winning Social Employment Fund (SEF), which promotes "work for the common good' by rewarding community members in productive ways towards long-term employment or income creation. The fund has created more that 114 000 jobs nationwide to date, as it targets unemployed people, so that they can earn income while learning skills and providing community-building services. Africa!gnite's work covers six key thematic areas, i.e. Food Security, Greening the Environment, Community & Public Art, Placamaking, Action Against Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and Youth & Digital Inclusion. Africa!Ignite is working in partnership with Zutari and Wild Coast Foods to effect change in 14 communities impacted by the new N2 Toll Road, which will cut through pristine parts of the Wild Coast when completed.
